The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the JEE Main 2025 exam schedule. Following the two-session format, the first session will be held from 22 January to 31 January, 2025, while the second session is expected in April 2025.
Candidates can now register for Session 1 on the official website. The exam will be conducted for two papers:
JEE Main has seen a steady rise in participation over the years - with 10.26 lakh students in 2022, 11.62 lakh in 2023, and even more in 2024.
Taking both sessions increases your chances of scoring better. The NTA considers the best score out of the two, which reduces pressure and offers flexibility. Even if you're satisfied with your first attempt, appearing in the second session could improve your rank and help you gain admission to top institutions like NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
