JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Application Form Open

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 schedule. Applications are open from 28 October to 22 November, 2024. Exam dates: 22 January to 31 January, 2025.

Applications Open JEE Main 2025 Session 1

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the JEE Main 2025 exam schedule. Following the two-session format, the first session will be held from 22 January to 31 January, 2025, while the second session is expected in April 2025.

JEE Main 2025: Application Process

  • Application Start Date: 28 October 2024
  • Application Deadline: 22 November 2024
  • Registration Portal: jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Result Announcement: 12 February 2025

Candidates can now register for Session 1 on the official website. The exam will be conducted for two papers:

  • Paper 1 – for B.E./B.Tech aspirants
  • Paper 2 – for B.Arch and B.Planning aspirants

JEE Main Trends from 2024

  • January Session: 24 January to 31 January
  • April Session: 6 April to 12 April
  • Total Registrations (Jan 2024): 12,21,624 (11,70,048 appeared)
  • Total Registrations (Apr 2024): 11,79,569 (10,67,959 appeared)

JEE Main has seen a steady rise in participation over the years - with 10.26 lakh students in 2022, 11.62 lakh in 2023, and even more in 2024.

Why You Should Appear for Both Sessions

Taking both sessions increases your chances of scoring better. The NTA considers the best score out of the two, which reduces pressure and offers flexibility. Even if you're satisfied with your first attempt, appearing in the second session could improve your rank and help you gain admission to top institutions like NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
